Daily Duties at Sunoco:
* Managed implementation of marketing’s environmental capital plan by coordinating equipment upgrades with maintenance, engineering and construction including automatic tank gauging systems, flex connector replacement and storage tank upgrades * Team lead for UST leak detection and inventory control programs for over 2,000 direct retail outlets * Project lead for service station acquisitions and divestments totaling more than $10M * Initiated special project team that included operations personnel and contractors to diagnosis site pressure problems caused by installation of CARB approved drop tubes. Partnered with senior construction management and maintenance in bidding and completion of repair work required to correct site pressure issues * Designed and established web portal and automated response process for leak reporting at retail locations * Developed and executed training programs for internal staff and business partners to maintain environmental and safety compliance * Provided guidance and technical assistance on federal, state and local regulatory requirements to engineering, maintenance, marketing, real estate and legal departments. Detailed knowledge of refinery maintenance processes and service station equipment * Analyzed risk assessment through models and simulation to develop and complete safety/environmental inspections and audits
