Daily Duties at Countrywide Financial Corporation:

Support the credit and reporting application by providing accurate, reliable consumer credit information in support of the lending activities of mortgage brokers and lenders nationwide. LandSafe Credit offers residential mortgage credit reports, credit bureau updates, income tax verifications and consumer credit monitoring. • Responsible for the systems development life cycle on all development and enhancement projects. Emphasis is on supporting and assisting departmental users with project planning, project definition, requirements, analysis, design and UAT testing. • Interpret and provide customers with new report formats using mortgage industry standards on the XML interfaces. • Project management responsibilities by assisting as a liaison between business and development team in interpreting business requirements and needs. Translate new process designs and requirements into usable systems-related information, models and documentation to be used in the development. • Work on new product development initiatives by writing and providing business requirements, functional specifications, mock-ups, and new reports. • Involved in the development of a new web-based application, centralizing the processing operating system (ACCESS) for automated credit report and upgrade request for both internal and external users.
