Daily Duties at Des/Dts Technology Services:

Assist the Human Resources Manager (ASO I) with the day to day operations of the Division of Technology, Information Technology Support Services Administration. Interact with several Administrators of different division with in the Division of Technology Services. Maintain complete Personnel files for 350 plus employees. Maintain records and filing system and ensure it is user friendly for accessibility. Process payroll for 3 different cost centers within the FMCS system. Tracks employee status term dates, verifications of employment, direct deposits, and other HRIS-related project assignments. Conduct file maintenance, prepare official personnel files, and prepare medical files, I-9 and terminated files. Act as Benefits liaison, assist in benefits processing and Qualified Life Event changes from employees on benefits. Provide technical assistance to employees during insurance open enrollment and answers questions. Assist customers and staff with HR questions/concerns, providing them with forms and assisting with procedures. Assist in processing New Hire Paperwork. Arrange and setting up New Hire Interviews along with Departure Paperwork for employees leaving State Service. Assist Employees/Supervisors with Grievance procedures and issues/questions. Help with setting up meetings/conferences. Assist Supervisors in drafting personnel letters. Process Classification Action Request Forms (HRC 302) for removal, establishing, review, reclassifications and updating of PDQ for active positions Maintain spreadsheets, reports and other personnel files. Coordinates employment process steps and communicates with employees of all levels pertaining to matters of confirmation letters and human resources and payroll paperwork; tracking of required training classes by spreadsheet, maintaining of Excellent Staff Through Example Education Motivation (ESTEEM) Evaluation process for DES/DTS employees, processing of Personnel Action Transmittal Forms (PAT) paperwork for newly hired or outgoing employees, including preparing incoming/outgoing reports, transfers, change of status and anniversary dates. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those encountered in the course of work. Demonstrated ability to operate a computer and utilize word processing, spreadsheet, database and exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to resolve conflict. Coordinates new hire orientation program. Prepares and presents information updates to staff as needed. Effective interpersonal skills when dealing with internal and external customers, Self-disciplined with strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written, verbal and multitasking skills. Perform related work as required. Work with material that is highly confidential. Maintain all office equipment. Certified Notary Public
