Daily Duties at Asrc Aerospace:

Perform assembly of NASA test bed components. Interpreted engineering drawings and built critical ground support fixtures for the new launch vehicle. Responsible for the mechanical build up and inspection of the next generation Mobile Launch Platform power supplies. Used standard inspection tools to verify parts after machining. Wrote integration procedures for the power supplies that resulted in an increased build up efficiency of 250% thus lowering costs and cycle time. Prepared the Launch Equipment Test Facility for reconfiguration to accommodate new launch systems and sub-systems. Helped maintain ISO 9000 certification standards within the technician group. Terminated ground support cables for the research and development group. Worked closely with engineering utilizing root cause analysis to solve various technical issues. Reviewed drawings for completeness and submitted findings to engineering for changes. Performed basic machining of parts either by hand or by metal lathe and utilized various corrosion control techniques to protect parts in corrosive environments.
