Solely responsible for translating user and business requirements into detailed specifications and design utilized in the development of software applications. Responsible for ensuring that requirements are fulfilled through traceability matrices; for writing requirements and technical design documents; for managing requirements through change control; for validation of requirements; for documenting and implementing software development process standards for the full life cycle of development; for evaluating and implementing the use of a Content Management Solution for requirements documents; for training the team on best practices in implementing a process for software development; and for assisting in the improvement of bug tracking and reporting and establishing and documenting a change control process.
