GENERAL MANAGER Provide highly effective leadership managing a wide range of business functions for this premium ice cream manufacturing, distribution, and marketing company operating at the wholesale and retail levels. Provide guidance and training for a staff of 4 managers and 20 employees. Manage production scheduling, market analysis, compliance, and purchasing. Additional responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to, supplier identification and wholesale account management. Work with senior management developing strategic plans to meet both short- and long-range planning. Analyze fluctuating market conditions to develop new products resulting in higher market share, increased revenue and profits, and greater client satisfaction and loyalty. Directly responsible for annual budgeting, procedural development and implementation, production scheduling in concert with manufacturing managers, and cGMP analysis. Accounting duties include A/R and A/P, invoicing, cash and quarterly reporting, payroll management, and general ledger. Manage wholesale accounts. Maintain close relationships with client principals to identify ongoing needs and suggest product sales strategies, take and ensure the accuracy of orders, and monitor accounts to ensure on time delivery. Enjoy a track record of significant successes throughout tenure. Boosted wholesale sales an average of 30% per year. Helped a key customer with the design and layout of a new store, capital equipment purchases, and product strategies resulting in customer becoming 8th highest grossing wholesale account. Generate additional off season business demonstrating to our suppliers the ability to more cost-effectively produce products, on time and to exacting quality standards.
