Daily Duties at Compaq:
November, 1999 – March, 2002 Compaq Computer Corporation Technical Support Engineer 1. Provided technical phone support to customers in a wide variety of hardware and software customers. 2. Utilized analytical ability to trouble-shoot and resolve technical problems ranging in complexity from simple to difficult. 3. Software skill-set includes knowledge of MS Windows 9X/Me/NT/4.0/200 Professional, Microsoft Office 2000 suite, Epiphany Revolution 2000 call center software. 4. Hardware skill-set includes knowledge of Compaq Deskpro 5000, Compaq Prosignia, Compaq Proliant, Compaq Presario, Compaq Armada, and Compaq Ipaq. 5. Provide first-level technical support on basic operational or maintenance of personal computers and/or peripherals using documented procedures and available tools. 6. Answer ACD calls, assess customer's tech support needs and handle accordingly via troubleshooting techniques and, when required, escalation to second-level support. 7. Remain knowledgeable of Compaq's product line/service offerings, current industry products and technologies. 8. Thorough knowledge of customer-centric service procedures with goal of 100% customer satisfaction.
