Daily Duties at United Healthcare:

November 2004 – November 2007 UnitedHealth Group Billing & Enrollment Customer Service Representative/ Subject Matter Expert 1. Handle all incoming billing and enrollment phone calls for serving as the primary customer interface for department inquiries. 2. Inform and educate new customers regarding billing/invoicing set up and billing/payment procedures. 3. Alert management of repeat phone calls due to issues that have not been resolved within standards. 4. Place outgoing phone calls to inform customers of any past due Premiums that was due. 5. Apply appropriate communication techniques when responding to customers, particularly in stressful situations. 6. Consistently meet established productivity, scheduled adherence, and quality standards. 7. Proactively seek to further develop billing and enrollment competencies. Subject Matter Expert 1. Serve as first point of escalation for procedural issues and coach 2. Staff regarding how to effectively resolve the issue(s). 3. Ensure average call monitoring score meets or exceeds quality standards. 4. Establish rapport over the phone quickly and remain positive and upbeat. 5. Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain productive working 6. Relationships with others and contribute as an effective staff member.
