Daily Duties at Cosmetic Essence:
• Led a team of professionals to re-engineer multi-site production and warehouse processes. Potential cost savings and increased revenue of several million dollars would be realized by: ? Better inventory control throughout the supply chain. ? Elimination of supplier charge-backs for missing inventory. ? Blanket work orders consolidating inventory pulls and production runs. ? Implementation of Lean Manufacturing techniques enabling production lines to run at planned rates. ? Real time closing of production work orders. ? Improved production line clearance procedures. ? Established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). ? Developed warehouse strategies to increase capacity and efficiency by analyzing and categorizing AS 400 system data using Pivot Tables. • Member of management team establishing global sourcing centers in Shanghai and Poland. • Facilitated cross-functional, international groups to map the supply chain process from: concept ideation, new product development, sales, purchasing, planning, manufacturing, customer service and fulfillment. • Created the project plan and managed milestones. • Mapped warehouse and production processes using Visio. Identified procedural gaps.
