Assisting store manager with all aspects of daily store operations; scheduling staff breaks & scheduling; interviewing potential employees; downloading orders via email from corporate headquarters referring to sales, promos, etc.; merchandising to maximize sales; providing customers with assistance on purchasing &/or complaints; training new associates; numerous cash office procedures & daily duties; delegating g employee responsibilities; establishing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction for return business. Many other responsibilities included with management of a retail business. ***8 week Training Course( Completed within 4 weeks due to urgent need of management in store I would be managing) Training courses included: daily operations of retail establishment ; store policy & procedures; cash/credit balancing; creating various reports; supervisory skills; excellence in customer service; loss prevention
