Daily Duties at Cryolife Inc:
Work in the human tissue/donor quality assurance department Job requires ability to work efficiently, with a high level of personal job performance and strict knowledge of and adherence to industry standards and cGMPs. Daily performed a variety of tasks related to insuring compliance to all FDA and industry good manufacturing practices, AATB standards. Communicated with Organ/Tissue Procurement Agencies to coordinate transfer of donor information including serology reports, microbiology test results, and other needed information. -Reviewed and approved/disapproved all records related to the manufacture and processing of human tissues for transplant, including verification of calibration of equipment used, verification of expiration of supplies and solutions used. Review and approval/disapproval of Cryopreservation cycles, solution batch records, equipment monitoring. -Reviewed donor information to ensure compliance to all FDA and industry standards, including review of culture results, serology results, all medical records and other processing records from organ/tissue procurement organizations. -Responsible for release of approved product on a daily basis. -Familiar with company complaint process. Completed training in product complaint review and resolution. -Began as an Associate I, was promoted to an associate II within 1st year of work.
