Daily Duties at First Bank Southwest:

As CIO/CTO for a multi branch community bank, reporting directly to the CEO with overall strategic and tactical responsibility for all technology related initiatives. Instrumental in the successful planning and implementation of a complex corporate wide technology refresh including all server hardware, desk top workstation, a WAN network change to MPLS, a bank wide upgrade to a new VOIP phone platform including all associated infrastructure as well as the implementation of a bank wide technology DR imitative. Instrumental in planning and successful migration to a Thin Client / Virtual server/user operating environment. My position has direct responsibility for all data center, network and help desk operations in support of the bank’s mission critical core bank applications on an IBM AS400. Directly responsible for all other secondary bank wide applications (45 plus) within a Dell multi server platform environment. Instrumental in partnering with the bank’s senior business leaders in formulating and implementing new product and service strategies which has lead to the successful implementation of a new on line banking and bill payment product, a commercial remote check capture product and a complete update and replacement of the bank’s proprietary web site. Current successful projects include an upgrade to a bank wide check imaging and E-statement delivery platform. A member of the senior executive management team with an advisory role to the board and the Technology Steering Committee.
