Daily Duties at Us Navy:
•Prepared and managed $50 million maintenance budget. •Created and implemented an inventory control system that saved the ship over $100,000 in lost parts and man hours and maintained 98% inventory accuracy. •Supervised and trained a minimum of ten personnel in all phases of sonar operations. •Provided timely strategic direction during numerous operations and communicated recommendations effectively to the commanding officer. •Successfully advocated the merits of the sonar system to the commanding officer who had been inclined to use other means to track contacts. This led to a 50% increase in system utilization and a 20% increase in operational budget.
