Daily Duties at Capital Group:

Responsible for directing the Program Management Office, and managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously (e.g., trade processing, corporate actions, client service operations); Responsible for leading operational change initiatives, implementing project management methodology, providing proactive guidance to project managers, identifying and mitigating project/solution risk, delivering executive presentations and building consensus in a diverse, multinational environment. Accomplishments included improvements to trade processing throughput and enhanced Corporate Actions processing through outsourcing. Specific responsibilities included: - Developing a framework and approach for large-scale operational process re-engineering efforts; - Leading and directing project management teams (develop, coordinate, track and communicate work plans, budgets, milestones and timelines); - Building relationships with multiple functions, committees and geographies to facilitate operational change - Collaborating with and managing external consulting functions.
