Daily Duties at National Starch And Chemical:
• Research, analyze, and provide training for the Perfect Order Rate Team, a team designed to assist the Customer Service Department with reaching the goal of 99.8% (based on 1000 invoices) error-free order entry. • Meet 90% of proactive calling opportunities, with a stretch goal of 95%. • Meet conversion rate of calls into orders 12% of the time, with a stretch goal of 16%. • Clear unresolved shortages within 15 days of being reported. • Train new hires on procedures, software programs, telephone system, and report running. • Assist credit department with outstanding customer payments to resolve credit issues. • Process all material returns within 14 days of goods being issued. • Covered multiple phone lines to address customer needs, sales and technical concerns, and material issues. • Assisted three sales representatives and their customers to meet their Adhesive Material needs • Input orders into SAP system obtained via sales representatives, customer needs, and proactive calling • Collaborated with plants to ensure complete customer satisfaction with material needs. • Assisted Traffic Department with expedites, tracking of shipments, and freight charges. • Served as member of the Online Store Team to manage customer enrollments, assist with orders, update the store site, and troubleshoot Online Store issues.
