Daily Duties at Aspirus Lillian Kerr Healthcare Center:
At Aspirus Lillian Kerr I have worked my way through the ranks, first as a Laundry/Housekeeper, to Human Resources, to Billing and Administration and Social Work. Currently I assist the billing department with preparing bills at month end, and assisting with payroll. In Social Services I oversee admissions and referrals, working with medicare and continued stay denials, conducting interviews for social histories, and doing chart audits and admissions paperwork including updating paperwork as needed. I also do MDS and Care Plan audits. I work closely with customers and social workers from other facilites and hospitals and maintain relationships to ensure we are the first place they call when looking for resident placement.
