Daily Duties at Sterk's Super Foods, Inc.:
Responsible for general orientation of all new hires, payroll information, benefits administrator, assist in recruitment for nine store locations, workman's compensation, unemployment claims, FMLA, assist and advise store managers in policy issues and employee discipline, maintain personnel files for 900 employees. Resolve payroll issues, customer service complaints and employee relations. Knowledge of HR laws and regulations. Responsible for union employee merit raises and billing. Acted as confidential employee of the President. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access.
