Daily Duties at Us Navy:

Transmitting, receiving, and processing all forms of telecommunications using state-of-the-art multimedia technology such as fiber optics, digital microwave, and tactical and commercial satellites; operating, managing, and controlling telecommunication transmissions, computer networks, terminals, and processing equipment. Complying with requirements for secure communications; performing operational tests and required adjustments; performing maintenance on antennas; following directives regarding modes and frequencies; recognizing and reporting interference and jamming; maintains records and directives; uses equipment operating manuals; operating general purpose test equipment; requisitioning supplies; maintaining maintenance records. Operating and performing system monitoring, fault isolation and circuit restoration of communications suites in the HF, UHF, SHF, and EHF frequency spectrum afloat
