Daily Duties at Mc Kesson Provider Technologies/Well Star – Osg:
Responsible for all aspects of Unix Administration including setting up user accounts, maintaining file systems, installing and configuring new hardware, installing patches, upgrades and all other system maintenance for WellStar Health Systems client account including 15 IBM servers running AIX v4.3.3.0 through v5.2.0.0 and 9 Hewlett Packard servers running HP-UX v10.20 through v11i. Additional responsibilities include creating Shell scripts on the servers to automate daily tasks, maintenance of two disk farms (IBM 2105E20 ESS Shark and EMC Symmetrix) using Seascape Web User Interface to control the Shark and EMC Control Center v5.0.1 for the EMC Symmetrix and supervising and training junior staff.
