Daily Duties at Blm:

Developing a 28-year history of approximately 300 drills, carts and plows in the National Fire Rehab Drill Program, design spreadsheets and input data from detailed work orders from program inception up to electronic system activation to make permanent cost accounting records by year and by drill number resulting in data that can be used for program evaluation, track time in use, repair or storage, show physical location of equipment and predict future needs. To reflect true equipment costs, labor hours of four full time and during the busy season, two and sometimes three part-time mechanics are added to the relevant drill, cart or plow. Tasked with maintaining the integrity of the invnetory system data, produce monthly reports, advise of problems, recommending changes and interfacing with shop personnel to assure accuracy. Also maintain files and process mileage and fuel consumption reports by fuel type for the motor pool
