• Analyzed and managed Fidelity Management & Research Company’s (FMR) Balance Sheet and Capital Structure, including forecasting the financing needs for the total firm and key subsidiaries • Constantly evaluated various financing options like private placement, commercial paper, asset securitizations, derivatives, bank credit facilities and mortgages to determine optimal capital structure and capital needs • Prepared complex amortization schedules to mark-to-market FMR’s external debt • Devised and implemented complex hedging strategies including interest rate swaps and commodity swaps to hedge interest rate and liquidity exposure for FMR’s global operations
