Daily Duties at Department Of Behavioral Health:

Temporary program designed to provide comprehensive outreach services to mentally ill homeless persons. Assisted individuals by recognizing strengths, dysfunctional behaviors and provided services to enhance functioning. Provided referrals to other programs or agencies. Complete initial assessments and reassessments in complex case situations to identify personal care and domestic service needs. This was an experimental project set up by the County to see how to better serve the needs of homeless population.
