Daily Duties at Maximus:
Conducted managed care outreach and enrollment to Medicaid and NJ Family care recipients in Hudson County. Independently operated an off-site location servicing walk-in clients. Provided clients with managed care rules and Health Maintenance Organization availability to assist clients in making an informed health plan choice. Assisted the supervisor in the preparation of outreach reports for Hudson and six other New Jersey counties. Conducted outbound calls, home visits, and mailed correspondence to beneficiaries. Handled in-bound customer call inquiries regarding managed care navigation and benefits Handled in-bound customer call inquiries regarding managed care navigation and benefits. Participated in community outreach activities such as enrollment events, health fairs, and presentations. Coordinated and conducted presentations to individual and groups including clients, social service staff, and community organizations. Assisted in the evaluation and revision of office procedures and forms to improve the efficiency of the workflow. Prepared daily/weekly production reports and submitted by assigned deadlines. Acted as a liaison between local county offices and program management.
