Daily Duties at Windstream:
Managed planning, implementation, installation and testing of two servers which save the company $6 million annually. Responsible for ongoing maintenance and facilitating vendor support. Ensure product upgrades and integration complete to the two servers without affecting existing 13 million customers. Manage project scheduling and deadlines between a department of 7 engineers in multiple locations. Facilitate maintenance activities between external vendors and internal parties to maintain 99.99% network reliability. Perform ongoing forecasting for number portability database which allows for budgeting necessary equipment upgrades to support customer growth. Published technical documentation for department procedures and flowcharts.
