Daily Duties at Interstate Connections:
Total operations management of eight wireless retail locations across a multi-state area, responsible for hiring and training, increasing sales production, decreasing operating expenses and providing insight to corporate office to enable company-wide improvements. I introduced many new sales techniques for our product line of Dish Network, Directv, Sprint service as well as various other products offered. 1 Operations Management – Open and staff new locations, maintain proper inventory levels to maximize sales revenues while decreasing shrinkage, audit staffing levels to ensure coverage while eliminating unnecessary costs. 2 Human Resources – Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training new employees. Managed Seven (7) salaried managers and their stores’ staffs, including promotions, disciplinary actions and terminations. 3 Corporate Representative – Composed training manuals for sales training and technical training on various products sold. Visited regions outside my direct responsibility to seek out ways of specific improvement unique to each location and applicable company-wide.
