Daily Duties at Citigroup:
• Reconcile all daily activities in order to maintain the branch P&L • Calculate and post the necessary adjustments to the general ledger to maintain accurate commission reporting • Audit the accuracy of commission expenses to protect the firm from irrecoverable operational losses and coordinate with the systems area to mitigate the risk • Provide monthly reports concerning monetary payments to Financial Consultants through detail oriented checking • Process and control annual longevity bonuses and accruals for the entire Smith Barney Retail Division and create detailed reports to senior management • Educate branch administrators on online applications and processes available at the branch level to help maintain the branch P&L • Administered tax collection process for financial consultants’ forgivable loans • Communicate on problem solving with Private Clients and Controllers Groups, over 300 branches, and 3,000 of financial consultant in US and international retail
