- Managed MIS and organization’s long-term strategies and activities such as: Internet based Online Banking with a high rate of customers’ registration; - Conducted the project for Bank-wide Data Warehouse; created the base for MIS reporting for effective decision making; - Improved service to company’s Call Center for US and overseas customers; - Enabled Imaging and Workflow for Documents and Items allowing immediate access to customer documentation, checks, others and created the base for imaging statements, saving time on documents and items access by the company personnel; - Completed the Year 2000 compliance project successfully. - Managed the Business Continuity Plan according to best practices and federal regulations maintaining excellent grading by regulators; coordinated Disaster Recovery testing with positive results; - Implemented systems security software and tools maintaining a safe infrastructure; readiness for proper Incident response and investigation; - Supervised and coordinated with internal and external parties such as outsourcing companies on multiple projects controlling the Service Level Agreements as contracted; - Office systems solutions, evaluation and testing; Utilized Lotus Notes, Intranet technologies to share documents, reports and information allowing document sharing through the company; - Coordinated of activities with the Comptroller of the Currency Federal Regulators maintaining compliance which resulted in excellent ratings for the Systems Department. - Managed the day to day Bank data processing activities according to established operational procedures and creating new ones as required; - Performed updates to IBM 9370 and AS/400 Operating systems keeping systems updating to the required levels as necessary. - Performed updates to the Bank main Banking application: allowing the institution to utilize the latest features incorporated into the application; - In-house development of departmental support applications enabling departmental function automation; - Revamped existing applications, such as Accounts Payable to exploit features of new technologies and incorporating required new functionality as required by new business needs. -
