Daily Duties at Gap Company:
Personnel/Operations Manager, Gap/Gapkids-Southpark, 6/97 to 1/00. • Store consists of 100+ employees, over 200 during peak times. In charge of setting hiring goals, recruiting and training conduct all reference and background checks per company standards and ensure I-9 compliance. • In charge of performance appraisals and termination procedures, interface with district/regional/corporate personnel, manage sales generation and operational functions, meet payroll goals, maintain operational excellence with store self audits and pass regional audits twice a year, monthly supply orders for both stores, audit and maintain accurate price changes on a biweekly basis • Coach sales associates to provide exceptional customer service, train and develop all areas of staff. Address and handle any unsatisfactory job performance issues, maintain store expectations and systems.
