Daily Duties at Hewitt Associates:
Change Analyst/Business Analyst/Payroll Team Lead, Hewitt Associates,1/04 to 8/07 • Work mostly in the payroll/workforce administration domains providing assistance to project managers and payroll manager in the creation and ongoing management of process improvement initiatives on various client accounts. • Travel to new client sites to obtain current operational data, create documentation, identify any gaps and deliver to project managers detailed requirements on transitioning client work to current Hewitt platforms. • Responsible for ensuring data quality ,information effectiveness, execution, and continuous process efficiencies • Elicit, analyze, validate and document current business processes for various domains (payroll, benefits, workforce administration, service center) as well as any organizational and operational requirements .As well as document new requirements (future state) • Assist in developing system scenarios and participate in testing(integration and acceptance) • Assist in training of various teams(service center, payroll, workforce) and monitor service level agreements for domains • Identify, plan and manage process improvement projects as well as identify root cause, lead systems and operations problem solving • Assess impact of any system defects and work with correct domains to control damage/risk • Worked as Lead analyst in many upgrade and transitional projects for various clients. Specifically Taleo, Manager self service and Peoplesoft upgrade implementations. • Have assumed role(s) of Payroll team lead over oncycle/offcycle/garnishment departments until postions are filled for new client accounts • Ensure individual team members meet all standards of performance, call resolution, and payroll processing • Maintained individual development plans for each team member and scheduled monthly one on one meetings to discuss personal performance, accomplishments and areas of improvement. Also responsible for creating and administering each team members annual merit review
