Daily Duties at Greenpoint/Capital One:

Vice President, Southeast Branch Operations Manager. Calital One the Parent of Greenpoint closed the Mortgage origination division 8/20/2007. As Branch Operations Manager I developed, coached and managed the operations staff. I played a key role in strategically managing the Southeast h Wholesale region by ensuring top-notch customer service and efficient turn times in our combined organization. As Branch Operations Manager I was responsible for the continuous development of the Operations team in order to prepare them to meet the goal of migrating to a paperless system. GreenPoint Mortgage had a long history of "common sense" underwriting and closing Alt-A /No-Doc loans with an exception process second to none! My knowledge of interpreting complex credit issues, analyzing compensating factors and interpreting appraisal reviews were required as we moved challenging and complex loans through our loan exception process. Our success relied heavily on forging a reciprocal relationship with my Branch Sales Manager and sales teams. By offering a full service branch and cutting-edge technology to our brokers we took the loans all the way from point of sale to funding.
