Daily Duties at Transport Leasing Companies:

·Respond to incoming inquiries for OTR Driver positions for both company and O/O Drivers ·Conduct phone interview to verfy qualifications prior to sending application paperwork ·Once application is sent, follow-up to make sure driver received and pin-point time to return application ·Once application is returned, review for accuarcy and completion then submit to Agency partner, US Xpress Enterprises, for their review and qualification process ·Once driver has been approved to attend orientation, scheduled transportation and lodging for all drivers as well as pick up and delivery daily to and from hotel to office for orientation ·Once orientation started, I managed the process of getting all other internal paperwork completed & turned into the correct departments, prepared the DOT Driver file for each driver. ·After each driver has completed their physical, drug screen & road test, the Safety Director would begin his portion of orientation and I would begin the US Xpress Intranet Paperless process on each driver which once started can take as many as 5 days to get the driver completely approved through their bakground and auditing process. ·After each driver is completely approved and activated in the system for both US Xpress & us, I would send an email distributiion to all internal parties that the driver is now hired and ready for work. ·I shared the responsibility of advartising with one other recruiter.
