Daily Duties at Harrahs:

• Oversee and administrate the J-1 and H-2B recruitment process and applicants. • Manage recruitment for the Reno facility, and assist regionally for the Tahoe facilities. • Process, administrate, and handle all of the facilities unemployment claims and hearings. • Assist in the administration and distribution of the employee HEART fund disbursements. • Provide consultation and recommendation for employee terminations, FMLA, and designated leaves. • Manage the HRIS process to support employees from hire, promotion, development, and termination. • Assist in the set-up, follow-up, and support of the company’s Excellence in Supervision process. • Detail, design, and approve job descriptions and pay rates for a myriad of positions. • Assist in the development of a regional HR team to realize scales of economy and efficiency. • Designed, developed, and implemented an employee reward and recognition program to supplement corporate programs to reinforce and support employee engagement.
