Daily Duties at Harrahs:
Oversee and administrate the J-1 and H-2B recruitment process and applicants. Manage recruitment for the Reno facility, and assist regionally for the Tahoe facilities. Process, administrate, and handle all of the facilities unemployment claims and hearings. Assist in the administration and distribution of the employee HEART fund disbursements. Provide consultation and recommendation for employee terminations, FMLA, and designated leaves. Manage the HRIS process to support employees from hire, promotion, development, and termination. Assist in the set-up, follow-up, and support of the companys Excellence in Supervision process. Detail, design, and approve job descriptions and pay rates for a myriad of positions. Assist in the development of a regional HR team to realize scales of economy and efficiency. Designed, developed, and implemented an employee reward and recognition program to supplement corporate programs to reinforce and support employee engagement.
