Daily Duties at Aldo:
Manager • Insure total operation complies with corporate business strategy through staffing, personnel management, cash control, exempt and non-exempt scheduling, payroll awareness, supply budgeting, daily auditing, and innovative merchandising. • Collected input from managers for recruitment, received and scanned resumes, interacted with managers to schedule interviews, interviewed, negotiated compensation packages, wrote offer letters, handled orientation and paperwork for new hires, sent rejection letters, also conducted screening and background checks. • Responsibility of insuring compliance with company merchandising standards through utilization of trained staff. • Supervised opening of retail store. Developed and motivated team delegated tasks and empowered individuals, monitored and validated individual successes. • Succeeded opening unit one week ahead of forecast, opening sales plan surpassed by 50% and the annual sales were 30% over budget.
