Daily Duties at Moen, Inc.:

Coordinate/lead and execute all Supplier Quality Control activities at New Bern to provide defect free product from external suppliers (over 300 suppliers) to Moen operations. This includes receiving inspection, QN processing and administration, and nonconforming material resolution for all material purchased from external suppliers and received into the Moen New Bern plant (over 6,000 components). Set up all sorting and rework required for non-conforming materials. Utilize structured problem solving methods (8D) to define and contain the problem, implement short-term corrective actions as required, drive to determine root cause, and implement corrective actions. Monitor results to validate corrective action effectiveness. Work closely with HR dept. to insure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to hiring/firing, vacation, sick leave, medical leave, attendance, work performance evaluations, and all policies and procedures related to operation of the business. Define job descriptions to assist HR in determining salary ranges.
