Daily Duties at Publix Super Markets:
Manage the frozen food department by maintaining proper sanitation standards and merchandising techniques; tracked daily sales by using company Intranet. Maintained communication with management to ensure department activities are aligned with store level goals; provided leadership and direction to part-time associates in order to successfully achieve department objectives. This position was part of a program to train for assistant grocery manager. Maintain overall presentation of the frozen food department by using appropriate merchandising techniques such as making sure all merchandise is faced to the front and upright at all times for customers to easily find what they are looking for. Increased weekly sales to $50,000 per week for the frozen food department by eliminating all out of stocks using effective ordering techniques as well as merchandising weekly featured sale items.
