Daily Duties at Caremark:
• Successfully reduced number of jobs on nightly schedule for Claim Load Jobs from 25 jobs down to 4 for loading of the DB2 Claims Tables • Integral team member responsible for migrating and converting the Claims Repository Database from IMS to DB2 • Lead team member responsible for the enhancements required by HIPAA. • Worked on conversion and rewrite of Claims Online Display System, under CICS to use native SQL instead of calling 1 of 6 subprograms which were DB2 Conversions of IMS Programs designed to retrieve the data in the same exact fashion as it did with IMS.
