Daily Duties at Cigna Health Care:
Code and unit test Cobol/EasyTrieve programs, which extract, transform, and load data to a front-end batch environment to track Cycle/Audit Control. Code and unit test ETL programs that pull source data and populate a DB2 Data Warehouse. Analysis of existing system functionality for impact to upstream systems. Develop, test and schedule Jobs/Procs to execute batch programs on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Prepare technical run specifications for execution of new Jobs/Programs. Prepare Visio flow diagrams, detailing data/job/programs flow, with input and output specifications.
