Daily Duties at Chicago State University:

Assist & communicate to various levels of management including Grant Fiscal Officers/Project Directors in understanding university financial reports and procedures, budgeting, and interpretation of federal and state regulations Provide financial project analysis (monthly, quarterly and final) as required by the funding agencies. Prepare GAAP report for the State Comptrollers office that summarizes inter-fund activities between CSU and state agencies. Review and approve direct payment vouchers, purchase requisitions, travel vouchers/authorization, personnel hiring forms and salary override forms for correctness and monitor that funds are available for disbursements and encumbrances to avoid account deficits. Generate monthly grant related group insurance reimbursement report and submit to central management services.
