Daily Duties at Promotion Management Inc.:

I was in charge of the day to day operations of one of the largest mall show companies(home shows, health fairs, bridal fairs, ect)in the country.We produced these events from coast to coast. My personal duties included project management, the hire training and mentoring of a large sales staff, a show supervisory staff, and assigned tasks to the office manager. I was in charge of all phases of the events we produced, from inception to take down. I negotiated contracts for the events with mall regional specialty leasing managers and directors,and set the dates for the events with them. I negotiated contracts and prices with the various vendors we used for the events, and made certain all materials were of the best quality. If any mall tenants were participants in the events, I contacted them personally,to ensure they knew how to conduct themselves during the shows, and provided them with skirted tables, chairs, signage, and any other materials they may have required.I also attended as many events as possible, to reflect my personal interest in our clients, and to demonstrate that I valued our business relationship with them. I was in charge of all marketing, advertising, public relations, and media buying for all of the shows we produced. I was 'hands on" and my imput was used in regards to copy verbage when necessary. We also arranged for celebrity appearances for a number of client malls, and were in charge of evey detail regarding their appearance(s).I negotiated the contract and fees with the various agents, and arranged for, transportation, hotel, sound , stage, lighting, and any special requests the particular celebrity had .I also took care of all press releases, media buys, marketing, public relations, and promotions in relation to the celebrity appearances. Promotion Management Inc. grew to be one of the most succussful show companies in the country.
