Daily Duties at Available Upon Request:

Hold full responsibility for design, implementation, and support of information systems and technology solutions for enterprise wide, 8-site law firm with over 180 attorneys and 300 support staff. Supervise, train and mentor staff of 14 full-time employees and one permanent contract trainer. Lead all business and technology operations for IT department. Recruit, hire, train, conduct performance evaluations, and award monetary bonuses to employees. Act as Lead Project Manager, performing all phases of project management for major technology development initiatives. Closely analyze and evaluate effectiveness of individual projects and potential impact on overall productivity, modifying approach accordingly. Facilitate cost-efficient purchase of new technologies, with accountability for $3M+ annual budget. Conduct meetings and liaise daily with executive management, senior partners, and cross-functional departments to ensure seamless integration of technology into overall operations. Develop and implement firm-wide IT policies, procedures and methodologies. Key Achievements: > Lead development and implementation of enterprise resource and service oriented architecture portal consolidating data from multiple sources to provide access for employees to a variety of business intelligence data. > Designed and implemented software installations to align business processes more cohesively with technology. Most recent implementation included document management directly aligned with new business intake process shortening time from client acceptance to completion by several days. > Orchestrated multiple large-scale application rollouts, migrations, and upgrades with positive, noticeable impact to customers. Each implementation reduced wait time or processing time significantly enough to positively impact the firms bottom line. > Spearheaded development and implementation of comprehensive disaster recovery policy, including hot site and security/compliance documentation. > Championed consolidation of data to primary data center and replication to second site for backup purposes. > Successfully directed multiple server upgrades and migrations including server consolidation and implementation of appropriate new technologies. > Coordinated all aspects of technology deployment and construction for several office moves and openings, including expansion from 3 to 8 office locations. > Instrumental in significant expenditure decreases due to implementation of methods enabling attorneys to operate remotely, including deployment of Blackberry devices, laptops, and video conferencing technologies. Each instance increased billable hours significantly. > Introduced several new processes and procedures, to include new methods for user account management reducing new employee intake process from 2 days to 4 hours. > Employed new methods for software monitoring decreasing annual software maintenance. > Demonstrate outstanding team-building capabilities, coaching team members to deliver above-and-beyond performance, and effectively utilizing/developing full capabilities of each employee. > Promoted from Network Engineer to Network Manager to Information Services Director
