Daily Duties at The Heights School:
The Heights School is a private academy for boys, Grades 3 through 12 • Instructor of sophomore English and U.S. History for two years • Instructor of AP U.S. Government and assistant coach of the debate team for one year • Art instructor for elementary students in Grades 3 through 5 and mathematics instructor for students in Grade 4 for one year • Developed an advanced math program for high achieving students • Formulated lesson plans and implemented various teaching strategies to foster creativity and learning in the classroom • Modified lessons to accommodate unique learning needs (learning disabilities, English language learners) • Built positive relationships based on open communication with students, parents, and staff members
