Daily Duties at Alcoa:
Leadership position that helped define/implement strategic company-wide initiatives - Senior Technologist for an $8 billion subsidiary of a $30 billion multinational - Educated and advised Senior Executives on IT technology and how it related to business requirements across multiple international LOBs that included mining/casting, consumer products, building products, can, and recycling divisions. - Leadership role as chief technical infrastructure architect in planning and implementing enterprise-wide solutions for $30M ERP, business continuity, and systems management project. - Led and helped implement global datacenter consolidation project from over 30 locations to one. Savings over $6M over 10-year plan. - Served as internal SME consultant for all international corporate divisions in bridging business requirements to technology solutions and made recommendations to CIO. - Headed multi-million dollar project that was responsible for relationship with two IBM labs, JD Edwards, EMC, Tivoli, and Microsoft. - Negotiated strategic vendor contracts and managed vendor relationships saving upwards of $5M over 6 years.
