Daily Duties at Mass Highway:
Reviewin our Staff and Fee appraisers on a daily basis. Presenting high value appraisals to our Real Estate Review Board for their approval. I am the administrative authority and final determination with my signature over what is real property and what is personal property regarding businesses that we take for highway projects. I consult with other agencies on various real estate issues. I qualify potential fee appraisers for our fee appraisal list by determining their competence. I solve complex legal problems with our Attorney General Liaison. I give testimony in court when property owners litigate their takings of their property. I am also an instructor for our new hires in general eminent domain and appraisal principles.
