Daily Duties at St. Paul Fire And Marine Insurance Company:
For 22 years, I was Staff Counsel in the Boston Office of the St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company, representing the carrier and its insureds in all phases of civil litigation before state and federal trial and appellate courts. I represented the St. Paul’s insureds in numerous areas of public liability defense, including general negligence, professional liability, products liability, construction contracts and bonds, officers’ and directors’ liability, and worker’s compensation. I have also had extensive experience in the preparation of legal opinions pertaining to contract construction and interpretation, including interpretations involving issues of coverage under various forms of insurance policies.
What they like about St. Paul Fire And Marine Insurance Company:
The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.
