Daily Duties at Patriot Technologies, Llc:

As Senior Project Manager for the delivery of a $5 million term time & materials contract at the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), I was responsible for a team of analysts and web designers developing health care processes, system requirements, and prototypes for a system to facilitate the recovery of individuals with mental illness and cognitive disabilities. I ensure day-to-day delivery of project deliverables, coordination with government stakeholders, and establishment and coordination of 5 discrete working groups to garner business and software requirements for this program. Utilizing my experience in user psychology, business analysis, management, and aligning IT solutions with customer needs, I have worked with incumbent staff at the VA, veterans, physicians, and advisors to develop a best practices solution for the world’s biggest health care organization. I oversee 17 direct reports comprised of both direct employees and subcontractors to align solutions to meet the VHA constituency’s needs while ensuring alignment with the VHA’s overall strategy and vision for the program. During my time at the VHA, I have established a positive working relationship focused on trust with the Director of the My HealtheVet Strategic Program Office, the VHA Mental Health Executive Committee, the Department of Defense TriCare Online and MHS Learn program office team leads, numerous leading experts in Mental Health throughout the country, and innumerable VHA staff and contractors at the agency. In addition, I am proud to be a part of a cutting edge product that will facilitate the recovery of our veterans impacted by mental and cognitive disabilities.
