Daily Duties at Adult & Child Medicine :
? Assisted Medical staff to fill medical records; Ensure patient accounts are complete and ready for billing charge entry; Payment posting including account creation, account verification and reconciliation as necessary. ? Reconciling billing statements and remittance, data entry of charge records and cash receipts, verifying insurance eligibility and knowledge of CPT & ICD-9 codes ? Work necessary reports to ensure complete accounts, including but not limited to the bill hold report and interface error reports (e.g., lab and pharmacy); Compiled and processed documentation, as necessary, within defined timelines for specific account types (e.g., industrial insurance, subrogation, etc.)
