Daily Duties at Bernan Associates:
Develop relationships with itnernational publishers. Facilitate product development. Establish agency on/off-site visits. Maintain distributor/publisher relations and demonstrate highly effective, cohesive, productive product lines. Promote, contribute and participate in sales and marketing, and customer relations meetings. Conduct informational meetings to dientify top selling publications. Edit promotional meaterials for marketing to potential customers and international publishers. Negotiate vendor contracts on terms for publication purchase, discounts, rturn policy and shipping charges. Serve as liason betwen Bernan's accounting and customer relations department. Manage the purchasing process from publlisher to customer, including data analysis to verify publication acquisitio costs; utilize database system for annual, overstock inventory; determine cost effectiveness of relinquishing or retaining products.
