Daily Duties at Millennium Restaurant Group :
-Took on the added responsibilities of Interim Operations Manager for the Phillips Hotel Group property the Cellar Bar for six months during their staffing search -Established clientele base for new business, consistently exceeding forecasted revenue -Coordinated private event sales for all on-site venues: Ilo restaurant, the Cellar Bar, Screening Room, and The Bryant Park suites -Developed BEOs and conducted weekly BEO meetings with Director of Food and Beverage, Director of Sales and Marketing, and appropriate department heads -Maintained events calendar, communicating event specifics to all hotel departments -Created and implemented the production of a catering press package -Conducted publicity campaign to area businesses and incentive travel companies -Supervised on-site and off-site events from conception through execution -Guided clients in menu development with Chef Rick Laakkonen -Recommended wine pairings appropriate to menu -Managed relationships with all outside vendors, securing appropriate support: A/V, Kosher meals, music, floral arrangements, décor, supplementary equipment rentals -Established Wednesday night promotion, “Cocktail,” leading to 25% increase in Food and Beverage revenue -Organized the Cellar Bar’s annual Halloween event, including creation of the promotional mailing Select clients: The Food Network, Gourmet, Food & Wine, HBO, Miramax, Lion’s Gate, Microsoft, CFDA, Anna Sui, Enyce, Hanes, Victoria’s Secret, Clairol, Cartier, Mercedes
