Daily Duties at Ibm Employees Federal Credit Union:
Cross-functional management of department and branch managers with staff of 72 in Marketing and Public Relations, Customer Service, Sales, Consumer Lending, Credit Card Lending, Mortgage Lending, Collections, and Branch Operations. Responsible for recruiting, retention and training, strategic planning, product management, project management and business plan for all new services and enhancements to existing services. Duties included selection and management of software vendors, project management and data mapping during systems implementation and conversions. Role included responsibility for facilities and telecommunications with expertise in bank security systems. Supervision of employee benefits programs to include medical, dental, vision, life, STD, LTD, retirement, EOE and Section 125 pretax deduction plans. As Compliance Officer, implemented processes required for regulatory compliance in lending, operations, advertising and collections. Prepared and delivered monthly Board of Directors reports. Interfaced with all auditing firms and agencies. Acted as senior loan officer and security officer. Launched one of the first VISA Check Card programs nationwide with 70% penetration into existing customer base in the first 90 days. Enabled controlled growth by expanding field of membership to select employee groups in response to declining IBM employee population. Successfully liquidated $3 million in residential properties at market resulting in no losses during major IBM layoffs. Maintained delinquency ratio below 1% and loss ratio below .03% on loan portfolio of $68 million for a decade. Led disaster recovery team in preventing business interruption during total loss of sole office in a Sunday fire. Managed relocation of entire operation three times in 4 years, finally purchasing a major banking facility from an RTC liquidation auction. Continuously received above average performance ratings, bonuses, and achievement awards.
