Daily Duties at Continental Realty Corp.:

• Was responsible for the operations, maintenance, security and marketing of a 750,000 square foot shopping mall. • Responsibilities also included development of annual marketing and budget plans, implementation of special events, promotions, public relations, etc. for shopping malls in Maryland and S. Carolina. • Directed recruitment and retention of supervisors and staff including maintenance, security, marketing and office employees. • Prepared and monitored operations budget of over 2.5 million dollars annually. • Formed in-house advertising agency to save 15% commission fee, placed media buys, designed ads, wrote broadcast and print copy. • Promote business through active involvement of local networking groups such as BNI, the Chamber of Commerce and the South Carroll Business Association. • Managed and developed over 30 volunteers into goal-oriented, cohesive group raising $150,000 for the American Cancer Society.
